K9 Splash Zone is a 14 acre fully fenced facility situated at the old Brookville “airpark” – which is located three miles north of Brookville, Ohio. The property is owned and loved by Mike Burch and Susan Fife.
Brookville is found in the heart of a national network of interstate highways and major state routes referred to as the “Crossroads of America”. Brookville’s proximity to the intersection of Interstates 70 and 75 provides access to approximately 7.5 million people by way of a two-hour drive.
K9 Splash Zone is home to the largest dock diving pool in the Dayton-Cincinnati-Columbus area. The dock and pool were built to the NADD specifications to teach people and their dogs the skills of dock diving so they can compete in dock diving competitions and earn AKC titles or simply enjoy the thrill of watching the dogs leap to great heights and distances.
The pool offers people a place where they can enhance their dog’s jumping and swimming abilities, take advantage of the low impact properties of water therapy or supply an environment where a dog and human can come and just have fun and enjoy the benefits of being a canine athlete! Swimming is a great cardiovascular exercise and offers a low impact way to increase strength and endurance.
